BeachDeals is a vacation rentals site partnered with HomeAway and Booking.com. The project consisted of redesigning an outdated, non-responsive website application.
After receiving the initial project brief, I started researching the vacation rentals space. The most popular and successful vacation rental sites have modern, beautiful, and easy-to-use interfaces, and I wanted to create something that could compete with the best.
So, I grabbed a sketchbook and made quick sketches to materialize the vision in my head. Once I had a general idea of a responsive layout, I started working on interactive wireframes in Adobe XD.
Every modal, every search dialogue, and every UI component was designed and wireframed from scratch.
From a UX Design perspective, the goal was to give users a web app that is intuitive, useful, and beautiful.
Once the wireframes were approved and completed, I worked on the design phase (high-fidelity prototype).
After completing the design, I published the Design Specs, exported all the graphic assets for development, and worked with the developer to ensure that the end product worked and looked as good as intended.
